W is for What A Night...

We had a wonderful time at The McKameys concert tonight. It was held at Grandview Baptist Church in Springfield. What a blessing! If you have never seen them in concert and you enjoy Southern Gospel music I highly recommend them. They are so full of life and in love with the Lord. They sing from the heart and feel what they are singing. Peggy gets so excited and hyper; you can’t help but feel her excitement. 

 They sing a lot of wonderful songs. One of my favorites is Right On Time. Here is the last verse and chorus of it:


 I struggle through life’s deserts 
They were so hot and dry, 
Until it seemed all hope was gone, 
 And I was sure to die… 
And I wondered where was He? 
Is He still a friend of mine? 
 Then coming down the road 
Was JESUS right on time! 
 Just hold on my child, 
Because He’s not too far away 
And He knows your need before you pray 
So when your feet are weary 
From the mountain you have climbed, 
Look ahead, here comes JESUS right on time!


Isn’t that how it is, at times life is rough and we wonder where He is, but if we can have faith and hold on He is right on time! He will never put more on us than we can handle. Praise God He is always right on time!


 “…but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13b

When you call on one, who you cannot see 
 and you give Him your heart, for all eternity

When you turn away, from all your sin

 When you say goodbye to your dearest friends
 And through tear filled eyes, you say I’ll see them again!

When you take your last breath, in this world down here, 
And you close your eyes without any fear, 
That’s when faith steps in! 
Faith will carry you where feet have never trod! 
Safely to Heaven, into the arms of God! 
When you open your eyes, to that Heavenly scene, 
And you realize, it isn't a dream! 
That’s when faith will end! 
When you gaze on Him, face to face,
 And you rest in His, sweet embrace, 
 That’s when faith will end!
