S is for Stanley

Once upon a time there were two people who became friends over the World Wide Web. He lived in Missouri and she lived in Arkansas. They talked, laughed and encouraged each other online. They truly enjoyed each other’s friendship.

One night she informed him she would not be online due to a trip she was taking with her cousin Kathy to Eureka Springs. He immediately replied that is not very far why don’t I come down and take you ladies out to dinner. She kind of got quiet and stammered a little and finally replied, Okay if you really want to.  She felt she was pretty safe, he was still recovering from knee surgery so she figured she could outrun him if she had to.  Needless to say she did not have to run... and the rest is history.

Stan was a breath of fresh air to me. He was such a gentleman and truly knew how to treat us like ladies. We dated for a year before we married, long distance relationships can be hard at times, but we never had any problems.

Stanley treats me like a Queen (not of Procrastination) lol, he is so good to me. He makes me laugh and reminds me all the time how much he loves me. He understands me and still loves me. He loves my daughter and her family like they were his own and that means a lot to this momma. And he loves our Father in Heaven!

We are so good together and I thank God every day for him. I know he is the answer to my prayers! We will be married 6 years this September and he still gives me cold chills when he walks up behind me.  I love you Stanley!

until next time... nel
