BOOK REVIEW: Max On Life

Max Lucado has written another wonderful book called Max On Life.  This book gives us Max’s God based input on a variety of subjects.  Throughout Max’s ministry he has been faced with questions of his own and of his fans.  In this book he has taken 172 of the most common questions and answered them to the best of his ability using the Bible as his basis.  The book is divided into seven areas:  Hope, Hurt, Help, Him/Her, Home, Haves/Have-Nots, and Hereafter.  Each section has numerous questions that Max has answered and has included examples or scripture from God’s Word.  Included in the back of the book is a Topical Index and a Scriptural Index along with a special addendum called The Write Stuff which is geared for wanna-be writers.

I highly recommend this book.  There were several questions I had been pondering and it was good to read Max’s input.  This book will hold a very special place in my library.  It would be wonderful for a devotional book or could be used for a group study.  Don’t let this one pass you by!

I received this book free from Thomas Nelson Publishing as part of their Book Sneeze book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
