Not Sure If I Remember How To Do This...

After a long break I think I am back if I can remember how.  Sometimes I think we need to step back and take a look at our lives especially when things become so busy.  Looking over my posts I can't believe I have been MIA since last March. I have missed everyone but I have so enjoyed spending time with family, visiting on Facebook, spoiling Grandkids!  But most of all spending time in God's Word.

A lot of changes have taken place in our little family.  My Grands are growing so fast. Cain Alan towers over me and is only in the 7th grade.  Eden Jade is 8 years old now and loves singing at church, and is asking questions about Baptism and Accepting the Lord. (Makes my heart smile!) And Silas James turned a year old in October.  He is Rotten, his momma calls him her little heathen.  And he is a mess...total opposite of his easy going sissy!  But adorable at the same time. (spoken like a true granny!) My kid Janice continues to surprise me in what she accomplishes. Please pray for her and my son-in-law.

My sweet hubby is still my knight in shining armor. Still makes my heart skip a beat when he enters a room (all though entering is slower that it was. Arthur is taking a toll on his legs and knees, but I still love him more than ever.)

His niece moved out back in the summer and it is so nice to have my house.  It finally really feels like home.  I am so enjoying my kitchen, I had a blast this Christmas!  We did some redecorating this summer, replaced the carpet and painted the walls and ceiling in what was her room.  It is now our extra room but my sewing room and rec room.  We have all of our movies and cd's and albums just waiting for use.

His twin brother has moved in with us.  He is not in great health and needed to get out of a bad relationship and needed somewhere to go.  We have a lot of fun, it is good to see them spending some time together.  We never know how much time we have left and we need to make the most of what we have.  We need to hug a lot and let our family and friends know how important they are to us.  But most of all we need to let Jesus know how important He is to us!  He should have first place in our lives.

Here are a few pictures, remember I can't do anything without pictures. lolol.
Good to be back... Hope all of you had a Merry Christmas and wishing all of you a Happy New Year!

Waiting on the Christmas Parade. You can see how big Cain has gotten.
I don't understand why she calls him a heathen...lol

Until next time...

  1. You 2014 seemed to be very full! I was reading this post on my cell phone and when you started sharing about the grands I thought, "What, no pictures?" You didn't disappoint!! They have gotten SO big! Love your proud granny moments.

Shall we challenge each other to at least one blog post a month? Just so we don't fall back into our old ways! I'm sure there will be something to praise Him for in 2015!

Whatcha thinkin 'bout sewing in your extra room this year? I know I'd like to quilt more; life sure does get in the way. đŸ˜€ I have high hopes!

Good to have you back in bloggy world! Thanks for stopping by and hopefully, we'll see you again soon.

    1. A challenge it is!. And yes I have some sewing projects going on in the head. Have been busy with crocheting lately, I have sold quite a few hats. Thinking on crochet some doll clothes for the American Girl Dolls and the My Life dolls. Found a lot of cute patterns on line. Eden Jade loves her New Life Doll. I am sure will see you again! Have a great weekend!
