Hiatus in Arkansas

Hubby and I are off to Arkansas in the morning. My birthday is this coming Thursday, so what better way to spend it than with family and friends. There is a little girl named Eden Jade that is looking forward to Granny and Pappo coming to visit. She will be 3 in July going on 13. Every time I look at her, I Thank God for bringing her so far. She had a rough beginning, but you would never know that now. She has such a little personality!

Since we are staying for 2 weeks, we will get to see our grandson Cain. He stays with his mom a week then his dad a week. He is seven years old, and very inquisitive. He loves to play Poppit on Pappa Stan’s laptop with his assistance. I am sure I will have several pictures when I return.

And of course I love spending time with my daughter and son-in-law. Janice is one of my best friends and I miss her something terrible. It is a good thing we have mobile to mobile on our cells, because we talk at least every other day. I will try to check in when I can, but we do not have Internet hook-up at our house down there. I will miss everyone, but it will be a nice miss, cause I will be having fun spoiling a little girl. See ya in two weeks...

This was taken while she was in Children's Hospital in Little Rock. She had already had her surgeries and a blood transfusion. At this point she had not been held yet, well at least not by us. I know God was holding her in the palm of His hand close to his heart from the time she was born until her momma could hold her the first time. She was 3 weeks old.

These were taken at Christmas. She is a happy go lucky 2 1/2 yr old. The one on the right is her and her bubba, Cain. Her hero!
