Do you ever feel like you are stuck in a rut? Time seems like it is flying by and you are sitting still. Not doing anything.
Oh I stay busy, usually on the computer or reading. But this is always the hardest part of the year for me. There is a 2-½ month span, where it seems like we are at home day in and day out.
We seem to hibernate during cold weather. I hate getting out in the cold; it just chills me to the bone. And this weather is crazy. Cold one day and warm the next. We have been fighting colds and sinus infections.
I think I need to get a sewing project started. I have been looking at dresses in the catalog for Easter. Maybe I will just make me one. And I know a little girl in Arkansas, which could use a dress from Granny. Hmmmm sounds like a plan to me.

How fortunate you are to be able to sew! I can't...not even one bit. So, I either duct tape it or glue it! LOL
ReplyDeleteI do have a wonderful friend who sews. She takes care of all of my sewing needs...thank goodness!
Have a blessed week!

yes- I am in the rut too but we do have a pink day coming soon--the problem with ruts is sometimes we become sticks in the mud--LOL
ReplyDeletehugs from Meme who also uses duct tape - which now comes in colors-
Man do I EVER feel like we get caught in a rut. Although, with our family sometimes boring isn't such a bad thing. LOL! (We've had numerous trips to the er with the boys) =-)
ReplyDeleteAs for the cold weather.. I'm kinda ready for spring to get here. I noticed today that some of my flowers are already blooming.. some trees too. I sure hate to see another frost come along and kill them.. but I'm pretty sure that'll happen. (Almost always does - at least until AFTER Easter)
Okay.. I guess I'm gone for a bit. Take care and have a WONDERFUL weekend! =-)
