If you are a Christian you
should be witnessing everyday. There
are many ways that you can witness:
sharing Scripture with people is a witness, telling them how to live for
Christ and accept Him in their heart is witnessing. I believe the theme I have chosen for this A to Z Challenge is
form of witnessing. Praying in public
can be a witness to people; even going to church every time the doors are open
is a witness. There are so many ways to witness.
‘I waited patiently for the
LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry
clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even
praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD. Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his
trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.’ Psalm 40:1-4
‘Create in me a clean heart,
O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from
me. Restore unto me the joy of thy
salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted
unto thee.’ Psalm 51:10-13
‘I will speak of thy
testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.’ Psalm 119:46
‘My mouth shall speak the
praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and
ever’ Psalm 145:21
‘And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.’ Matthew 4:19
‘Also I say unto
you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also
confess before the angels of God. But
he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.’ Luke
12:8-9
‘But when the
Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit
of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: And ye also shall bear witness, because ye
have been with me from the beginning.’
John 15:26-27
There are many more
scriptures in the Bible that refers to being a witness. From these we can see to be a witness for
Jesus Christ we need to have Him in our heart and live for Him, obeying His
word. What we say, the way we act, the
way we live, the way we treat people are a witness for our Lord. What kind of witness are you?
Yes these posts have been an excellent witness.
